Park East is just half a mile from Erith town centre, so you can pop out to the shops in no time. It’s within easy reach of a variety of high street and independent stores, plus there’s the convenience of supermarkets a short walk away.

Erith is also undergoing an exciting transformation, with significant funding and the local community building an inspiring neighbourhood. Always an area of creativity and industry, it’s being restored as a flourishing riverside town, with rejuvenated spaces, enhanced transport links and the new amenities it deserves.

Bexley College has relocated into a brand new campus building in Erith, while new homes, improved roads and more pedestrian links are revitalising the local environment.

Another impressive development is the forthcoming arrival of Crossrail. The eastern end of this fast rail line will be at the striking new Abbey Wood station, easily reached from Erith, and taking you right into and across London quicker than ever before.

Erith rail station is a five minute bike ride or 16 minute walk from Park East; once there, you can reach central London in just over 30 minutes. Trains to London Bridge take 33 minutes, or 39 minutes for Cannon Street.

You can also join the DLR network at Woolwich Arsenal or Greenwich for travel to Canary Wharf and the Docklands. And with the arrival of Crossrail, you’ll be able to travel from Abbey Wood station to Canary Wharf in 11 minutes, Liverpool Street in 17 minutes, Bond Street in 25 minutes and Heathrow Airport in 51 minutes. There is also a bus service that takes you into Erith town centre and other local destinations, while main roads such as the M25 and A2 are a short drive away.

  • Dartford

  • A2

    The A2 is a major route out of London into Kent, starting at Borough, passing through Canterbury and continuing onto Dover. It connects with the M25 near Dartford.

  • M25

    This orbital motorway connects drivers with major roads and motorways heading in and out of London to the rest of the country.

  • Abbey Wood

    This South East London area is home to several schools, London College of Performing Arts and ancient woodland Lesnes Abbey Wood. The new Crossrail station will also mean faster journey times into central London.

  • Maidstone

    The largest town in Kent, with a historic high street, beautiful parks, walks and boat trips along the River Medway, theatres, museums, shops and restaurants. Leeds Castle is five miles from the town.

  • Ashford

    Ashford is home to the Ashford Designer Outlet, with 75 stores offering discounted designer labels plus several restaurants and cafes. There’s also Conning Brook Lakes Country Park to explore, and walks along the River Great Stour.

  • Dover

    This major port is the departure point for ferries to Europe, but there’s also plenty to see in and around the town itself. Dover Castle is a fantastic day out, with over 2,000 years of history to explore, and the famous White Cliffs offer walking, wildlife and stunning views.
